Nittany Vista

From the telephone conversations, there were several, and then in person, your staff was most helpful. We were first timers to the Outer Banks and look forward to returning. We loved the house. It was perfect for our big (17) family. It is a beautiful area! Thank you for your assistance in making our week a fantastic one!

We're back!! This was our second year at 'Nittany Vista' and it did not disappoint! We had a great time, as always, and the many conveniences of the house added to our enjoyment. We LOVED being able to go to The Pine Island Beach Club!! There was always ample parking, no matter what time of day, and the short, very accessible walk to the beach made it easy for our older parents to join us which was a nice treat for us and them. Plus, it was like having our own private beach!! Not sure where everyone else was, but we're really glad they weren't there with us, ha! We're hoping that it remains Corolla's best kept secret for a long time!! Being able to use the pool was also great for the days when the ocean was too rough, cold or overpopulated with jellyfish…it enabled us to stay at the beach a lot longer with kids who really wanted to swim!! It was a great feature we used every day! Thanks again for sharing your terrific home with us! We're already counting the days until next year!

This is our 2nd year at your beautiful house! We were having a wonderful week until Hurricane Irene chased us home! We enjoyed our time at Pine Island, loved watching golfers on '11' and had some competitive ping pong games…and, in general, just enjoyed everything this house and Corolla has to offer! Great sunrises over the ocean from the back deck and great sunsets over the bay from the front! Thank you!

The Carcias, Johnsons and Aliuccis (August, 2011)

The week flew by and it was incredible! The air temp around 85 or so and the water was perfect! This is our third year at 'Nittany Vista' and we celebrated a '70th' and a '5th' during our stay and officially marked our 15th OBX Anniversary Beachfest! We loved the Pine Island Beach Club and on many days were the sole occupants of sandy real estate and the men enjoyed a round or two of golf! The older kids loved the game room and movie room. We really love the kitchen and eating space for our group of 16. Sadly, some of us loved the study/crow's nest for working emergencies! The decks were well used for morning coffee and many afternoon/evening drinks while watching golfers on 11. The view is so amazing from your house; we are fortunate to have found 'Nittany!!!' Thank you for opening your home to others! We so appreciate it!

Thanks to your large home, we had a bed for everyone and we never felt like we were on top of each other (even when we were eating)! The decks (& rocking chairs) were a big hit for watching sunrises, sunsets, and lightning from approaching storms… it was like being on top of Jockey's Ridge… Your house was as close to perfection as we've found, and we hope to make it our "home away form home" again next summer.

Spectalcular home. The views were incredible and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and beatifully decorated. The kids loved the theater, pool table, ping pong and pool. We hope to see you again!
